Welp, today's the day! We left school to go to North Carolina on a fishing trip. But right now, we can't find the key to the turtle top so we're just trying to fit everything in the car and still have room to put the T.V. in there. Today's my friend Nora's birthday, and she's turning 10. Now our litle group thing(Hannah, Emily, Taylor, me, and Nora), as Nora called it at recess, is all in the double digits, except for me and Taylor, 9. IF YOU'RE READING THIS NORA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My dad's running a half marathon today. It's thirteen miles. Right now, he's at the race, but we're still at home. his friend, Mark, ran in a lot of marathons. My dad, on the other hand, has only ran two. Even though he has been runnig for a long time, he's just started running in marathons. I've been in one, too. Well, actually, i didn't really run I walked, and, it was only a three mile run(or walk, for me). In the whole marathon, whoever comes in first place gets $15,000! Well, dad, good luck!

When I had my Pic-line still, my dad took me on a trip to Washington. It was really fun. We saw a movie, we went to museums, and the really cool part was that we did it all on bikes. We went to this one museum that was at the Smithsonian and it was the gems and minerals part. It was incredible! I mean there were diamond necklaces that looked like it weighed a ton. Do you see that purple thing on my arm? That was the wrap on my pic-line. Anyway, we went to the Washington Monument, the Lincon Memorial, and the White house. When it got dark, we went to the bookstore. I saw some scary books that looked really interesting, but dad said that there was no way to carry it, especially in the dark. When we got back outside and we were getting our bikes, we saw a homeless family that had laid out a thin blanket under a bench. They had a little box that was labled: 'BELONGINGS'. When we got back in the car, I think I might of fallen asleep, I can't remember.

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Kaitlynn. This summer I went to the hospital. I was at a party and I ily stabbed myself with a sharp stick. I didn't go to the hospital until three days later. When I got there I was terrified. But after I got an IV it wasn't so bad. Sometimes I had my dad take me on a walk in a wheelchair at about 10:00 at night. We would go down to the lobby and dad would bring up magazines and I would sit on them to hide them. I would have a lot of visiters. The restaurant my dad works at, Jaspers, sent me a stuffed bear, who I named Ivy after IV. Then I got an MRI, which is a kind of x-ray, except you go in a tunnel sort of thing. Well, that took about an hour and a half and I fell asleep. My cousin, Max, who's 8, came to visit me and I told him how to push my wheelchair. I had a bunch more visiters in those 5 days. On the fifth day, my mom took me home and then we went to the movies to see The Sisterhood of the Travling Pants. My mom bought us a big popcorn and some candy, which she usually does not do. When we got home I ate some more. Why am I eating so much you ask? Well, the next day I would get a pic-line and I couidn't eat or drink after midnight. The next day my mom and dad drove me to the hospital and, after a long wait, they put me to sleep. When I woke up, I was a little dizzy. The next few days were a little odd, because every morning when I woke up my mom would have to give me medicine through my pic-line. Then, on they third-to-the-last day, I got a fever and they had to take my pic-line out. The next two days I took my medicine out of cups. After that, everything was normal. The total number of shots I got was 34. So that was what hapened to me over the summer.
