Catholic Schools Week

This week is Catholic Schools Week at my school, and it is the week of the school year that I enjoy the least. I mean, the activities are fun and all, but besides that the stuff that goes on in our little group thing is not that enjoyable. Anyway, I was looking at a record from last year's Catholic Schools Week, and tomorrow is supposed to be the worst day ever! I am really nervous because I don't know whats going to happen, but I have a small idea that it will involve a certain person.

Science Lab

In Science class I sit next to Clare, with Anne and Graham in front of me. On Wednesday we did some lab with sediment. We had to bring in a plastic jar, fill it with dirt, sand, rocks, and water. Then we would shake it. We put it on top of the locker holes and let them sit there until Friday. Now I have a jar of muddy water sitting in my room with nothing to do, nowhere to go (lol). Ever done a pointless lab? Comment to tell!

Middle School

Hello! Now I'm in middle school, sixth grade to be exact. I'm still at the same school, and willl be until I graduate from eighth grade. I can't believe that I ever hated my school! I LOVE it here. I have a lot of friends. Another thing I LOVE is Johnny Depp. Especially Sleepy Holloe (1999) and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). I've seen Sweeney Todd twice and I have the soundtrack. I'm planning on getting the DVD the first day it comes out. As for Sleepy Hollow, I've seen it four times and since there is no soundtrack and I can rent the DVD I don't have either. At the Top is a picture of Johnny Depp. Comment if you love him too!
I also like the show Project Runway. My favorite person is Christian Siriano. He's is going to win! If you like him or someone else on the show comment.

Today we have no school! It's amazing beacuase the roads look fine. I'm also going sledding later. AFTER I clean the ice of the driveway. Happy (late) Valentine's Day!

Hi! Right now I'm at my grandma Shirley's house because my dad had to go down to Virginia to redo Grandma Shirley's floor because it flooded. Also, my mom has a test that she has to study for.
Today we were at Lowe's to look at tile with Grandma Shirley. When I went back to the car to get my grandmother's cellphone and this dude came up to me and asked if my mom and dad was with me. I was scared to death. The guy said that we scratched his car (actually it was Cooper) when we opened the door. He wanted to show us the mark. I was to scared to get that close to him so I told him that I would go get my mom (I forgot to mention that it was my grandma). So I ran back in the store and got her. Fortunatly, he thought that I was very polite and he didn't make us pay for anything.

First Snow

Today when I was coming back from the library it started to snow. But you probably noticed that by know if you live in Maryland. Actually, it's not the FIRST snow, but it is the first heavy snow. In the end of November or the begining of December it snowed a little bit at recess. I think Taylor or I put a post up about it.
Anyway, tomorrow's Taylor and I's birthday. We'll be 11. At 3 or 4 o' clock tomorrow morning there's supossed to be an ice storm. If there is, then we get to go to my freind Maggie's house since my mom has school. I think I said that yesterday.
And since my mm has school tomorrow, we celebrated Taylor and I's birthday today. I got a desk, a hanging bin that locks, a clothe line (except you hang other stuff on it and it has metal clips), a cabinet that has eight drawers (it's red and clashes with my room, so we're to spray paint it hot pink), a hot pink chair, and four jars for the hanging cabinet. Taylor got the same thing minus the desk and plus a headset-microphone thing and a game for our Nintendo DS. And, on top of all that, we're getting a Nintendo DS Light :).

Freedom Writers

Tonight my mom, Taylor, my friend Hannah, and I went to the movies to see Freedom Writers. It was pretty sad and REALLY good. So if you've seen it, leave a comment and tell me what you thought of it. The teacher on there, Hillary Swank, was the on Million Dollar Baby (also a good movie).
There is also a book that the actual people in the class made, which was publishe in 1990 or something. It's called "FREEDOM WRITERS DIARY". I'm going to read it if I can find the book at the library. I'll tell you what it's like if I find it.
Monday's Taylor and I's birthday. Also good news, we might have snow that day, so I really hope we do. And if we do, we get to go to my friend Maggie's house because my mom has school. So we can celebrate our birthday again at her house.
On Sunday (tomorrow) we're going to celebrate my birthday with my family an possibly Hannah. My mom's making us a double-decker chocolate-on-chocolate cake with chocolate chips on it.
You can tell that I love chocolate.

Tonight at dinner something weird happened. We heard this vibrating noise, like the washing machine was running or the garage door was opening.

But they weren't.

So we decided to just keep eating, talking, and reading (secretly; under the table). But the topic of my parents conversation wasn't about my mom's schoolwork, the news, or my grandfathers restaraunts (or the new one being built).

It was about what could be making those sounds.

IT WAS HAPPENING AGAIN.

Like the washing machine running or the garage door opening.

But they weren't.

And so on, so forth, the sound sounded on and off as my parents conversation kept getting more and more frantic.

Finally, when Taylor and I were eating brownie bread and studying math, it happened angain. But the my dad relized that it was his phone ringing. But it was on VIBRATE!
